Abstract

Dexpanthenol and propolis extract in combination with local antibiotics for treatment of Staphylococcal and Pseudomonal wound infections.

Managing bacteria and their biofilms in wounds is vital in achievingwound healing. Determination of antimicrobial and antibiofilm activity of differentremedies such as dexpanthenol and propolis- natural bee product- alone and/or incombination with topical antimicrobial agents on Pseudomonas and Staphylococcuswound infection was the aim of this study.
