An epidemic spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19)
infection has posed significant threats to global public
health and the economy. Scientists around the world are
endeavoring to find potential antiviral effective in
combating COVID-19. Currently, there is no specific
treatment for COVID-19, however several drugs are
currently under clinical investigation to test their efficacy
and safety during the treatment of coronavirus disease
2019 (COVID-19). Based on published evidence, we have
summarized the present therapeutic agents effective
against SARS-CoV-2.
