This study was carried out between March 2004 and February 2005, to determine the fish spe-cies inhabited in Seyhan Dam Lake. Totally 804 specimens were caught by different methods. It was determined that specimens caught were belonging to 23 species and 9 families (Salm-onidae, Cyprinidae, Cobitidae, Siluridae, Clariidae, Cyprinodontidae, Poecilidae, Percidae, and Blennidae) were identified. The results revealed that Oncorhynchus mykiss (Walbaum, 1792), Carassius carassius (Linnaeus, 1758), Carassius gibelio (Bloch, 1783), Acanthobrama sp., Al-burnus sp., Squalius kottelati Turan, Yilmaz & Kaya, 2009, Luciobarbus pectoralis (Heckel, 1843), Capoeta angorae (Hanko, 1925), Capoeta erhani Turan, Kottelat & Ekmekçi, 2008, Cobitis evreni Erk'akan, Özeren & Nalbant, 2008, Aphanius fasciatus (Valenciennes, 1821) and Aphanius mento (Heckel, 1843) are new records for Seyhan Dam Lake.
