Editorial

Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning. Founded in 2012 Journal of Universal Surgery (ISSN: 2254-6758) is growing continuously. It is our pleasure to announce that during year 2019, all issues of volume 7 were published online on time and the print issues were also brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online. It is a rapid peer reviewed Journal which have a key concerns over the medical practices by exploring the best surgery and health oriented clinical research and by exhibiting this information both directly, as clinical findings, and in practice oriented formats of direct application in day-to-day situations.

Journal of Universal Surgery during this year also brought out 22nd Annual Congress on Neonatology & Pediatrics, 26th International Conference on Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery and 4th World Congress on Pediatric Neurology & Pediatric Surgery conference proceedings, which consisted of ~ 15 abstracts.

Journal of Universal Surgery (IPJUS) broadcasts latest experimental, empirical, theoretical, clinical observations and interpretations in surgery originating from all across the world. The journal promotes communication and sharing of innovations and insights among academicians, researchers, clinicians, physicians and other health care and medical professionals who deal with prevention, diagnosis and treatment of any diseases and disorders. The journal focuses on systematic and scholarly studies aimed at addressing the emerging challenges in surgery. The journal has a wide coverage of medical subjects including Laproscopic Surgery, Gallbladder Surgery, Arthroscopic Surgery, Scoliosis Surgery, Sinus Surgery, Oral Surgery, Gynecomastia Surgery, Orthognathic Surgery, Thyroid Surgery, Pacemaker Surgery, Appendix Surgery, Colorectal Surgey, Cardiovascular Surgery, Ankle Surgery, Hip Surgery, Neck Surgery, Varicose Surgery, Implants Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, the scope of the journal is not limited to the listed research areas but covers a lot more areas globally.

During the calendar year of 2019, IPJUS received a total of 17 manuscripts, out of which 10 articles were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format and in peer review process. During 2019 around 7 articles were subjected for publication after they are accepted in the peer review process. In the 4 issues of Volume 7 published during the year 2019, a total of 22 articles were published from authors all around the world. Globally all the published articles have been open accessed by the research, scientists, students, medical professionals and also cited.

A special issue is announced on Covid-19 entitled “ Perspective on surgery in the time of COVID-19: Safety First”.

All accepted manuscripts can be submitted online via https://www.imedpub.com/submissions/universalsurgery.html or through an email attachment to surgery@imedpub.com. Submission should be accompanied by a cover letter with reference to the concerned special issue theme.

According to the Google Analytics, more than 212607 readers are visiting to our journal websites for submitting manuscripts, to browse the latest research published on diabetes and metabolism and to refer the published content for conceptualizing their research study, deriving research hypotheses, case reports and validating their contributions.

IPJUS has Cosmos Impact Factor of 3.572* with Index Copernicus value 87.75. Journal of Universal Surgery is associated with Insight Medical Publishing (iMedPub) for Archiving, Journal maintenance, financial purpose and support. More than 2,822,814 users have accessed the publisher website with more than 7,758,847 page views. These stats reveal that the journal is also immensely popular among scientific societies and organizations. Consequently, the editorial board profiles, authors and their affiliations are also gaining higher visibility.
