Editorial

Shredding: It is a method in which all the bulk waste of plastic including risk/hazardous waste is disinfected and cut into small piece/portions and converted into compact/hard form. It reduces the volume of waste and also reduces the risk towards humans and environment by preventing the flow or migration of waste.

Types of Research Work

Land disposal/open dump: Hospital wastes are openly dumped but it is not the safe method of disposal. Disposal of waste should not be done around/on open dumps.

Sanitary landfills: Properly designed and managed landfills should be utilized to prevent the contamination of soil, surface, ground water and direct contact with public.

Safe deep burial: Hospital waste can be safe by deeply burying it, but the burial site should be lined with a material of low permeability such as clay to prevent leakage.

Health emergency is a separate unit that comes into force during significant communicable disease outbreaks, any chemical, biological or radiological incidents, mass casualty incidents such as an earthquake or any emergency where there are a significant number of people needing medical treatment.

Health care is an important determinant in promoting the general physical and mental health and well-being of people around the world. Health care includes the diagnosis, Prevention, treatment of disease, illness, injury, and also physical and mental impairments in human beings.

Health Systems Financing

Health financing deals with how financial resources are generated, allocated in health systems and is concerned with how to move closer to universal issues related to providing sufficient funds for health; overcome financial barriers in regard of health policies; to provide an efficient health services.

Health care Management or Healthcare Administration is the field identifying with authority, administration, and organization of general public health, health awareness systems, clinics, and doctor′s facility systems. Human Rights relating to health are set out in basic human rights treaties.

Health monitoring is an informal method of surveying your workforce for symptoms of ill health. This type of occupational health management system can enable you to be aware of health problems and intervene to prevent problems being caused by work activities.

Health Policy

Health policy includes any decisions or plan of actions that are implemented in order to achieve specific health care goals within a society. Health policy can achieve several things and vision for the future and it builds consensus and informs people.

Health System Policy Analysis

Health policy analysis is a multi-disciplinary approach to public policy that aims to explain the interaction between institutions, interests and ideas in the policy process. It is useful both retrospectively and prospectively, to understand past policy failures and successes and to plan for future policy implementation.

Highlights

Using Mobile network to contact, advertised call for papers for the experts in the particular field around the world. Approaching and formation of editorial board and reviewer board from particular sphere for peer review process and to maintain frequency of articles.

During the calendar year 2019, IPHSPR received a total around 23 articles were subjected for publication after they are accepted in the peer review process. In the 4 issues of Volume 6 published during the year 2019. Average publication lag time of an article was further reduced to 2-3 weeks.
