Associate Professor Microbiological and biochemical drugs College of Pharmacy Nankai University
Fang Bai earned her B.S. in Biotechnology Pharmaceuticals (2003) from Jilin University and his Ph.D. in Microbiology (2008) from College of Life Sciences, Nankai University, China. From 2008 to 2013, Dr. Bai worked in anti-diabetic drugs development and mechanism study at College of pharmacy, Nankai University, China. In 2013, Dr. Bai went to USA to pursue her two-years postdoctoral training at College of medicine, University of Florida. Her focus is to study the bacterial Type III secretion system based protein delivery technology and its application in stem cells reprogramming or differentiation. Dr. Bai now is an associate professor of College of Pharmacy and the State Key Laboratory of Medicinal Chemical Biology, Nankai University, China. She is the PI for several city and national level research projects, including: the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission of China.
