What happens if you catch the new coronavirus? How does coronavirus spread and how can you protect yourself?

A new coronavirus that emerged in China late last year has spread to at least 185 countries on six continents, with the World Health Organization (WHO) declaring the outbreak of the pathogen a pandemic. As fear has spread, scientists and researchers around the world have ramped up efforts to understand the new virus and how it affects the human body. Currently, there is no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease.

Here is what we know about the coronavirus and the highly infectious respiratory disease it causes, COVID-19, and what happens if you are infected.

Benefits of Being the Lead Guest Editor

Article Processing Charge (APC)

For the Special Issue manuscript APCs, here is policy:

For Lead Guest Editors, they can publish one paper for free if the special issue finished successfully (i.e., at least 5 papers were published in the special issue), and enjoy 20% discount for the rest papers.

Note that the Lead Guest Editor must be the corresponding author of the paper.

Note that the Lead Guest Editor must be the corresponding author of the manuscript.

For Guest Editors and invited authors, they will enjoy 10% discount for their papers in the Special Issue.

For common authors, the APCs are the same with the corresponding Journal in which the Special Issue is published.
