    The Use of Probiotics in Mental Health Emerging Insights and Therapeutic Potential

    The gut-brain axis, the bidirectional communication between the gastrointestinal system and the central nervous system, has emerged as a significant area of interest in understanding mental health disorders. Recent research suggests that probiotics, which are live microorganisms that confer health benefits when consumed in adequate amounts, may play a crucial role in modulating the gut microbiota and influencing brain function. Probiotics have shown promise in managing various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders.
