    Probiotic products were seen as an alternative to antibiotic use in freshwater murrel fish farming. Probiotic microorganisms such as bacteria, yeast and fungi provide several benefits to fish such as growth promotion, pathogen suppression and improvement of food digestion, poor water quality and stress tolerance agents, and reproduction enhancement.
